Frequently Asked Questions

These some most common questions about business coaching.

The sooner you get a business coach the better. The early days of a business’s lifecycle is in many ways the most crucial. The customer base is only just starting to form, there is lots to keep you busy (and distracted) and chances are, you need to get your cashflow going reasonably quickly in order to be able to stay in business. That is precisely the reason why working with a Business Startup Coach can be really helpful.

Apart from working as a coach, I also run sales training courses and offer marketing services, through a network of people who we have developed a strong professional relationship with over the years. That means that Christel’s advice isn’t just theoretical, it is very practical. And it means that if you want a website built, a logo designed or an SEO review made, we can either help you with that directly or refer you to someone who we know delivers high quality at a very reasonable price.

Yes. If you have a specific area of your business startup that you want to focus on, then we can build a coaching programme around for example sales and marketing, or only sales. Most of Christel’s coaching experience comes from working with small and medium-sized businesses, so she will not be suggesting campaigns that will break the budget. Instead, you will work creatively together to come up with the best approach to bringing more business through your door.

Maybe she does, maybe she doesn’t. Over the past 20 years, she has gained experience from a number of different industries, but as your coach that doesn’t really matter. You are the expert of your business and you will surely know your industry better than I do. What Christel brings to the table is deep knowledge and understanding of business growth and business startups. By combining your knowledge, you business can grow stronger than if either of you were building it on your own.

Yes! Many business coaches charge a flat rate per session and that often makes high quality advice hard to afford for smaller businesses. We wanted to change that, which is why we price our coaching based on the size of your business. We have a certain number of coaching slots available for each business size. To get exact pricing, please contact us.

Yes. How quickly a business evolves is very individual and after a year in business you may still be dealing with many of the same questions and challenges as a completely fresh business encounters. If you are in doubt whether a Startup Coaching package is for you, please get in touch for a chat about your business and what is right for you.

The length of your business startup coaching depends on what you are looking to achieve from it. Sometimes it is a shorter programme that lasts for a few months, where we focus on lifting one area of your business. Other times, we work together for a year or even more. There is no minimum length to my coaching programmes, we simply agree what approach to take and go from there.

Yes. As a rule of thumb, all Business Startup Coaching sessions are done online, using Skype or Zoom. By not traveling to her clients’ locations, or requiring them to travel to her, she can fit more coaching sessions in to a day and keep coaching prices down, especially for smaller businesses.
