How long you choose to get coached is very individual. Some people come for one or two sessions to get clarity on a specific challenge. Others come for regular sessions every month or every quarter, almost like ongoing ‘mental maintenance’. There is no minimum amount of sessions you need to commit to, so the length of the coaching programme can be tailored to exactly what you feel you need.
Personal Coaching is essentially forward focused. It is about where you want to be heading, more than it is about where you have been. If you have complex, unresolved issues from the past it may be helpful to work with a therapist in conjunction with a coaching programme. As a rule of thumb, coaching sessions are done online, using Skype or Zoom. If you are geographically located close to each other, you can also meet for face-to-face sessions.
