These some most common questions about business coaching.

How long you choose to get coached is very individual. Some people come for one or two sessions to get clarity on a specific challenge. Others come for regular sessions every month or every quarter, almost like ongoing ‘mental maintenance’. There is no minimum amount of sessions you need to commit to, so the length of the coaching programme can be tailored to exactly what you feel you need. 

Personal Coaching is essentially forward focused. It is about where you want to be heading, more than it is about where you have been. If you have complex, unresolved issues from the past it may be helpful to work with a therapist in conjunction with a coaching programme. If you are in doubt about whether personal coaching is the right approach for what you want to work on, please do get in touch for an informal chat about whether coaching is the right choice for you. 

That is the expectation by many who look for coaching, but that is not how Christel works. It has been her experience that the most profound changes happen when they come from within, instead of coming from an outside force pushing us forward. That is why she uses mBIT Coaching as her main coaching technique. It is a gentle yet very effective technique for achieving personal change. This technique is entirely internally focused; it is about aligning you completely  and removing any blockages, so that you can move forward without hesitation or doubts. 

As a rule of thumb, coaching sessions are done online, using Skype or Zoom. If you are geographically located close to each other, you can also meet for face-to-face sessions.   

Yes! In fact, a lot of successful people have a coach for exactly that reason. Many people choose to get a coach because wherever it is they want to go, a coach will help facilitate that process quicker. That is true whether the change you want to make is in the area of life, work, sports or relationships.
